This 1981 Trans Am restomod started as a rust-free Arizona car with all of its original body panels. Griffin Automotive Design completed a full rotisserie restoration while preserving the classic character of the second-generation Trans Am.
A built LS1 provides the power, paired with a BTR Stage 3 camshaft and Holley Terminator X-Max. A Legacy 5-speed manual transmission puts that power to the road. The car also features a full Hotchkis suspension package, 19-inch billet Snowflake wheels, and a 3-inch stainless steel exhaust.
Inside, custom Relicate leather gives the cabin a refined finish. Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air, and a backup camera add modern comfort and convenience.
The finished Trans Am combines classic Pontiac styling with modern performance and drivability. Its craftsmanship also earned the car a photo shoot for an upcoming feature in Modern Rodding Magazine.
