This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle came to Griffin Automotive Design ready for the next stage of its build. Already an impressive car, the goal was to take it further with more power, improved reliability, custom fabrication, and the finishing details needed to bring the entire build together.

At the heart of the Chevelle is a GM Performance Parts 6.2L LS B-15 engine paired with twin turbos and a built 4L80 transmission from Transmissions To Go. A new rear end was added to support the upgraded powertrain, while custom-built headers, a Shaun’s Custom Alloy billet intake, and Holley Terminator EFI complete the performance package.

The work goes well beyond what’s under the hood. Paint repairs are bringing the exterior back to a clean, polished finish, while a custom chin spoiler gives the front end a more aggressive look. Under the hood, custom close-out panels and LED lighting create a clean, finished engine bay worthy of the rest of the car.

Vintage Air adds modern comfort, while a fully custom interior and trunk setup bring the same level of attention to the inside. Every part of the project is being approached with the same goal: creating a Chevelle that looks refined, performs the way it should, and feels complete from every angle.
