Tom’s 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is undergoing a full custom build at Griffin Automotive Design. The project combines a wide-body design, extensive metal fabrication, carbon fiber components, and a twin-turbo setup.
Chassis & Suspension
The Camaro will ride on a Speedtech Performance chassis with independent suspension. The setup also includes QA1 shocks and six-piston Baer brakes.
Wide Body & Carbon Fiber
The car is getting Anvil Auto carbon fiber wide-body front fenders along with custom steel wide-body quarter panels in the rear. Several additional Anvil Auto carbon fiber components will be used throughout the build. These include the hood, front bumper, lower valance, header panel, and other front-end pieces. The car will also have a carbon fiber deck lid.
Custom Fabrication & Power
We are completing custom metal modifications throughout the Camaro, along with a custom roll cage. A twin-turbo setup will provide the power, while a MoTeC system will manage the engine and other vehicle functions.
