Larry’s 1968 Camaro is being completely reimagined with modern performance, custom fabrication, and updated styling. A Detroit Speed chassis provides the foundation for the build, while a supercharged LT4 engine and six-speed manual transmission make up the drivetrain. Up front, we added a custom lower lip to give the car a more aggressive profile and help direct airflow into the engine bay. The aluminum front bumper is also being handmade in-house using a Baileigh power hammer. At the rear, the bumper was modified to tuck tightly into the quarter panels for a cleaner fit. We also fabricated a custom lower lip to match the front. Inside, a sixth-generation Camaro ZL1 interior is being adapted to fit the 1968 body. The car will be finished in metallic orange with racing stripes down the center. Overall, the build combines modern performance and custom fabrication while keeping the classic look of the 1968 Camaro.
